Dr Efe Obudu is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and has made his home on the Mornington Peninsula since 2016. Dr Obudu is a highly experienced, caring and compassionate doctor, who brings a wealth of experience from some of the world’s best hospitals to Frankston. Dr Obudu is currently available for private gynaecology appointments at Frankston Obstetrics & Gynaecology, located at Peninsula Private Hospital.

Dr Obudu has been a senior member of the Women’s Health team at Peninsula Health (Frankston Hospital) for many years, leading teams that delivered many improvements for women. Throughout most of 2020, Dr Obudu was the Acting Clinical Director of the Women’s Health Unit at Peninsula Health. Dr Obudu spent his undergraduate years in Lagos and Nigeria, establishing women’s health clinics and medical education services, before relocating to the UK and completing his post-graduate studies in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Furthermore, Dr Obudu has obtained additional post-graduate qualifications in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr Obudu imparts these skills to the next generation of doctors through his teaching work. Prior to relocating to Frankston, Dr Obudu worked in New Zealand.

A lover of the great outdoors, Dr Obudu enjoys spending his down time in the picturesque natural environment that surrounds the Mornington Peninsula.
